It’s a new year, 2013 already..
reviewing what I’ve done during 2012, I think it’s mostly about standup comedy
show that I watched during a year =D Luckily that I have a friend who also love
to watch standup comedy too.. so I just need to find out about the show and
ticket, and she will join me too haha.. Let’s sum up how many standup comedy
shows that I watched during 2012:
- SUN at Binus by HIMJA
- Koper
- SUN Jakpus – Batak Nite
- Standup comedy show – Buat Pepeng at Rolling Stone Café Jakarta
- Merem Melek Kick Off Tour in Bandung, a special show by Ernest Prakasa
- Merem Melek Final Tour in Jakarta, a special show by Ernest Prakasa
- Standup comedy show for Charity at Coffee Toffee Hang Lekir
- Tanpa Batas, a special show by Sammy “Notaslimboy”
- Indonesia:, a special show by Pandji
- Cowmedy Buddy
Other than those shows, I also
visited open mic event which become an occasion for comics to prepare and
perform their new bits. It was funny because sometimes they will open their
notes because they forget their bits =))
The other thing is about
photography. I bought my Nikon D3000 about 2 years ago and and think there’s no
significant improvement regarding my photography skill! Too lazy to do the
photo hunting as we know Jakarta is full of shopping mall. The most favorite
photo hunting spot is Kota Tua and I visited that place too many times *getting
bored*. But starting from September 2012, Nikon Team held Nikon Photographer on
The Street twice in a month, for free. I joined this event only three times
(Kota Tua, Museum Mandiri and Bunderan HI). But not bad, I got 2 t-shirt, 1
camera strap and 1 photo book from this event haha.. If only I could join the
previous 3 event, maybe I have 4 t-shirt or more already :p And surprisingly,
some of photo hunting member knew me. I even didn’t know who they are haha.. Really
hope that next year, there will be another photo hunting that I can join =D
2012 also become the year of
travelling for me. Starting from June to October, I have one ticket every month
for travelling. It was unplanned to have one ticket every month, it was just
happened and I enjoyed it. June was trip to Medan, actually it was a business
trip but I extended my stay in Binjai to visit Popo and relatives. July was
Singapore trip with sister and 2 friends, bought the ticket a couple months
back and finally the day has come. August also went to Singapore, it was
unplanned trip >.< because Leehom held his concert in August 18, I hunted
a cheap airlines ticket and decided to went to Singapore again. Early of
September, I went to Bali with 3 friends. It was a gift to had an opportunity
to stay in Ayana, Bali for free. The trip was about beach trip, visited so many
beaches and getting tan after that T__T
October was my friend’s wedding
in Surabaya. This was my 2nd trip to Surabaya. The 1st
time was a business trip back when I was still working in Rabobank. Since it
was a business trip, I didn’t have much time to explore Surabaya, and the worst
was I didn’t bring my DSLR with me. So, in this Surabaya trip, I prepared my
DSLR and captured so many pictures during our trip to Batu Secret Zoo and Batu
Night Show in Malang. Besides, we also visited House of Sampoerna and I was
able to capture to museum main entrance with my DSLR. The first time I was
there, I wasn’t able to capture the main entrance using my pocket camera =D
So, what’s the 2013 resolutions.. I never set new year resolutions for myself. Just go with the flow =D
But I promise to myself that this
year:
- Will join the mandarin class
- Having exercise at least once a week (swimming or walking around GBK on Saturday morning)
- Being able to drive a car
- More patient -_-“
- Do more saving
Other than all those wishes, I’m hoping
that everything will be better in 2013, not only for myself, but also for
my family. Amen.
